I grew up in a blend of the streets of Manhattan and the hills of Northern Virginia. This has given me an appreciation for the contrasting aesthetics offered by a towering metropolis and the rolling countryside hills.
A lifelong interest in capturing striking visual images came from my first camera, a Nikon FE, and early work in the darkroom of the school newspaper. I found great pleasure in documenting and developing images from my environment.
In the past years of live performance concert photography, I have been fascinated by the challenge of finding one special moment by working every angle, following patterns of light and ultimately capturing the one expression of emotion that defines the moment.
As a professional, I am available for live performance, personal and family portraiture, wedding celebrations, and corporate events.
